Named after the three Connally brother, including former Texas
Governor John Connally who was shot along side JFK, Floresville
was one of the first projects utilizing geo-grid, a substitute
for lime stabilization. M&M was able to lay the material
down faster and reduce the amount of base necessary, saving
the owner both time and money. M&M was also able to keep
cost down by utilizing in-house VE ideas for haul off operations.

Paving Area: 32,500 SF
This project required extensive excavation for the designed
basement. The project overall was the addition of an administration
building. Other items on our scope of work included demolition
of existing canopies and suspended walkways, prep for new walkways,
colored concrete, curbs and paving. As with other university
jobs, crews were pushed by the tight schedules enforced. |
