- Northrup Hall
Owner: Trinity University
GC: Bartlett Cocke General Contractors
Acres: 4
Pad Area: 62,000 SF
Paving Area: 65,500 SF
Before Trinity University's Northrup Hall could be constructed,
the demolition of the previous building and selective site demolition
had to be performed, both, while classes were still in session.
An existing fountain was carefully demolished because the University
desired to salvage the centerpiece and re-install it in a new
fountain display. Sitework activities included pad and site
concrete preparations, rock excavation and extensive tree protection.

The Byron P. Steele II High School project was a complete sitework

the project on multiple occasions demanding field crews to spend
several hours pumping water to complete operations. M&M
provided and placed all asphalt and select fill for the building
pad. |

UTSA
Downtown
Owner: University of Texas System
GC: Spaw Glass/ Centex
Acres: 3
This project consisted of the excavation and pad preparation
for the entire downtown campus. Towards the end of the project
a design build parking garage was added completely handled through
change orders. Over 15 feet of excavation along with lagging
was required in the parking garage. Because the garage was so
deep, a ramp had to be dug just to deliver the select fill.
All prep work for the interior courtyards was included in the
scope of work. |
